Registration

The 48th Information Systems Research Seminar in Scandinavia (IRIS48) and the 16th Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems (SCIS16) will be held in Oscarsborg Hotel, located at Oscarsborg fortress, which is situated on an island outside of Drøbak.

The deadline for registration is June 15th, 2025.

There are options for single and shared rooms. As there is a limited number of rooms and a cap on single rooms, we hope that many will book shared accommodation. Later registrations can be asked to book a shared room.

The prices are:

  • 9870 NOK (accommodation in a single room)
  • 8900 NOK (accommodation in a shared room)

The hotel accommodation and three meals per day are included in the conference registration fee (check-in August 10th, check-out August 13th). You will have to cover travel individually, including ferry tickets from either Oslo or Drøbak. Please note that there are limited ferries to and from Oscarsborg island, and you will need to plan your other travel arrangements accordingly.

To register, please follow these two steps:

  1. Register your information at https://nettskjema.no/a/520513. If you are choosing a shared room, we recommend that you organize who you are sharing with before you register. If not, please indicate this in the form, and we will help you organize. After we have processed your registration, you will receive a registration mail with a payment link.
  2. Pay through the link provided to you in the registration mail.

Important: You are not registered before you have both filled out this form AND paid in the payment site.

We can use up to three working days to process your initial registration form and send you the payment link. Since there is a maximum number of rooms available, we reserve the right to decline your registration if we are out of rooms or ask you to change to a shared room option.
